Behavioral Health Verification Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Behavioral Health Verification Specialist will complete electronic verifications of patient eligibility and benefit information while ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with provider offices.

Key responsibilities

• Complete soft checks and Green VOBs through electronic means without making outbound calls to insurance companies
• Review and verify patient eligibility, coverage details, and benefit information using online systems and clearinghouses
• Document and communicate benefit information to provider offices promptly and accurately

Required qualifications

• Experience in healthcare verification processes or similar roles
• Proficiency with online systems and clearinghouses for eligibility verification
• Strong attention to detail in documentation and data entry
• Ability to respond professionally to email correspondence from provider offices
• Availability to work a schedule from Saturday to Wednesday
