Job Summary

Seeking expert Belarusian Audio Transcribers for a remote, part-time opportunity to convert audio recordings of native speakers into precise written transcripts, applying expert linguistic judgment to enhance AI training data.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, time-aligned written text following project-specific style guides
• Apply conventions for speaker identification, overlapping speech, disfluencies, and non-speech events
• Self-review submissions against quality standards and engage with QA reviewers on edge cases and style updates

Required qualifications

• Native fluency in Belarusian with lifelong residence or deep immersion in Belarus
• High accuracy in reading and writing Belarusian Cyrillic
• At least two years of professional transcription or related experience
• Ability to distinguish between Belarusian, trasyanka, and Russian in mixed audio
• Comfortable with web-based annotation platforms and variable-speed audio playback
