Offering a flexible schedule, the remote Belizean Creole Interpreter will operate as a freelance independent contractor, providing language access services while managing their own availability and accepting appointments based on demand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services in various settings, including medical, legal, and educational environments
• Manage appointment schedules and accept assignments based on personal availability
• Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability while working independently and collaboratively

Required qualifications

• Fluency in English and Belizean Creole with an understanding of idiomatic expressions and cultural nuances
• Previous interpreting experience, preferably in relevant fields
• High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in interpreting or related fields is a plus
• Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship
