Bench Scientist II

Job Summary

Supporting upstream bioprocess development in a biologics environment, the full-time Bench Scientist II will execute laboratory experiments focused on CHO cell culture and bioreactor-based experiments in Andover, MA.

Key responsibilities:

• Setup, operate, and monitor bench-scale bioreactors for continuous and perfusion-based culture systems
• Analyze cell culture performance by monitoring critical parameters such as cell density, metabolites, and nutrient profiles
• Generate data to support upstream process development and MSAT activities, including sample preparation and method optimization

Required qualifications:

• Experience with CHO cell culture in upstream bioprocessing
• Hands-on experience with bench-scale bioreactors, including setup, operation, and monitoring
• Familiarity with bioreactor control systems such as SCADA and DeltaV
• Experience analyzing cell culture performance metrics
• Background in biologics development, including monoclonal, bispecific, and trispecific antibodies
