Job Summary
Responding to inquiries from beneficiaries and service providers, the full-time Beneficiary Support Specialist will manage communications via phone, email, and mail while updating records and processing requests in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to beneficiary and provider inquiries through various communication channels
- Update and maintain accurate records across multiple systems
- Process routine service requests within established timeframes and escalate complex cases as needed
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or one year of work experience
- Customer service experience, preferably in a contact center, benefits, healthcare, or government services environment
- Ability to navigate multiple software systems while assisting callers
- Patience and genuine empathy for callers navigating disability and financial stress
- Reliable internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace for remote work
