Job Summary

A company is looking for a Benefit Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employee benefit programs for client companies, including onboarding, relationship management, and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with clients and vendors to improve benefit programs and implement new programs
  • Build and maintain carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and resolve escalated issues

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of insurance industry experience, with at least two years working in a brokerage
  • Experience in employee benefits
  • Ability to explain technical analysis related to plan renewal, marketing, budgeting, and demographic analysis
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and use technology systems and software applications
