Job Summary

A company is looking for a Benefit Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify insurance coverage and perform benefit investigation for new and existing patients
  • Contact healthcare professionals and insurance carriers to resolve issues and obtain necessary information
  • Communicate with patients regarding order status and coverage issues
Qualifications:
  • 6 months experience in medical insurance, benefits verification, medical billing, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a Windows based computer utilizing Microsoft Office
  • Pharmacy, PBM, or Specialty pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of government and patient assistance programs
  • High School Diploma or GED required
