Job Summary
To support the administration and compliance of U.S. employee benefits programs, the full-time remote Benefits Administrator will manage 401(k) retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, and vendor partnerships while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end administration of the company's 401(k) plans, ensuring compliance with ERISA and IRS requirements
- Administer U.S. health and welfare programs, managing onboarding, open enrollment, and employee communications
- Ensure benefits processes align with EOR business models and support compliance across a multi-state workforce
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive benefits experience, including administration of U.S. 401(k) plans
- Experience in an EOR, PEO, or complex employer environment with multi-state employee populations
- Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance, including ERISA, COBRA, and ACA regulations
- Experience managing annual open enrollment and ongoing benefits operations
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and benefits administration platforms
