Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Benefits and Authorization Specialist to work remotely, preferably residing in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones, who will manage benefit verification and authorization activities for new referrals, ensuring timely access to specialty medications.

Key responsibilities

• Processes benefit verification or authorization for all new referrals with speed and accuracy
• Works directly with payers to understand benefit design and obtain required authorizations
• Assists Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of two years of experience in a related field
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities simultaneously
• High degree of self-discipline in maintaining productivity expectations
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
