Job Summary
Managing benefits and compliance for the organization, the full-time Benefits and Compliance Manager will ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, assist staff with benefit choices, and deliver required training while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage benefit plans and open enrollment processes in compliance with ACA guidelines
- Counsel staff on benefit options and claims, and manage federal and state leave plans
- Develop and deliver state-required training to supervisors and employees
Required qualifications
- Five years of related experience in HR or administrative support
- Minimum three years of experience with employee benefits administration
- Thorough understanding of government regulatory guidelines (e.g., COBRA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA)
- Proven effective project-management skills and strong analytical abilities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and HRIS systems like Paylocity
