Benefits Configuration Tester

Job Summary

Working remotely on an hourly basis, the Benefits Configuration Tester will perform configuration testing, create and maintain testing suites, and ensure compliance with benefit design standards while supporting the implementation of new projects.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and execute testing suites based on requirements and design plans
• Create test plans and documentation, and conduct batch testing for assigned projects
• Understand the claims adjudication system and contribute to process improvements for efficiency and accuracy

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience is required
• At least 2 years of experience in claims processing, healthcare benefits, or pharmacy benefits
• Moderate skills in Microsoft Excel are required
• Previous testing experience is preferred
• Experience in PBM or managed care is a plus
