Job Summary

Providing support for COBRA benefits inquiries, the contract-to-hire Benefits Customer Service Representative will handle inbound calls and emails, assist with benefit enrollments and account information, and perform data entry tasks onsite in Lakewood, NJ.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound calls and emails from COBRA benefits members and employers, ensuring clear and patient support
  • Perform accurate data entry for COBRA benefit enrollments, terminations, and related updates while documenting calls and actions taken
  • Support open enrollment periods by assisting with increased call volume and providing portal demos for new HR contacts and employees
Required qualifications:
  • Prior benefits knowledge and experience processing enrollments or handling claims is a significant plus
  • Previous customer service or call center experience is required
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience in benefits enrollment, insurance verifications, or medical office settings is advantageous
  • Ability to manage heavy call volume during busy periods and lead short demos effectively
