Job Summary
Working onsite in Lakewood, NJ, the contract-to-hire Benefits Customer Service Representative will handle inbound calls from COBRA benefits members and employers, assist with benefit inquiries, and perform data entry while providing clear support and guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls regarding COBRA benefits, providing clear support and assistance
- Perform accurate data entry for COBRA benefit enrollments, terminations, and payments
- Support open enrollment by managing increased call volume and guiding employees through benefit options
Required qualifications
- Prior benefits knowledge or experience processing enrollments or handling claims is a plus
- Previous customer service or call center experience is required
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Experience in benefits enrollment, insurance verifications, or medical office settings is advantageous
- Ability to manage heavy call volume and lead short phone or screen-share demos
