Job Summary
Handling inbound calls and providing support to COBRA benefits members, the contract-to-hire Benefits Customer Service Representative will assist with inquiries, perform data entry, and support open enrollment while working onsite in Lakewood, NJ.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage inbound calls and assist with COBRA benefit inquiries, notices, and payments
- Perform accurate data entry for enrollments and updates, ensuring documentation is complete
- Support open enrollment by managing increased call volume and providing portal demos to clients and employees
Required qualifications:
- Prior benefits knowledge and experience with enrollments or claims processing is a huge plus
- Previous customer service or call center experience is required
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Experience in benefits enrollment, insurance verifications, or medical office settings is advantageous
- Ability to manage heavy call volume and lead short demos for clients and employees
