Job Summary
Leading the strategy and delivery of employee benefits programs, the full-time remote Benefits Manager will oversee the Benefits team, collaborate with HR and Finance, and drive innovation in health, wellness, and compliance to enhance employee wellbeing and retention.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health, welfare, and retirement offerings
- Evaluate workforce trends to recommend data-driven enhancements and lead annual benefits planning and renewals
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery and ensure compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive benefits or total rewards experience, including plan design and program management
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA regulations
- Proven ability to lead vendor relationships and contract negotiations
- Experience with HRIS/benefits platforms, preferably Workday
