Job Summary
Managing the strategic design and compliance of disability, leave, and voluntary benefits programs, the full-time remote Benefits Manager, US Disability will oversee program management, vendor relations, and regulatory compliance while serving as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and recommend benefits programs aligned with corporate strategy and industry trends
- Manage leave administration and interface with internal and external vendors for all leave of absence programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to benefits programs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
- 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits management within a large organization, preferably in manufacturing
- Professional certifications such as Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or SHRM-CP/SCP are highly desirable
- Expert knowledge of federal and state leave and disability laws and regulations
- Proficient with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and benefits administration platforms
