Job Summary

Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the fully remote Benefits Operations Coordinator will support the implementation and ongoing administration of large employer health benefit programs, ensuring accurate onboarding and renewal activities while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate onboarding and renewal activities for large employer health benefit groups, ensuring timely and accurate implementation
  • Review benefit plans and related documents to identify discrepancies and facilitate smooth transitions from proposal to implementation
  • Manage implementation timelines, track project milestones, and resolve issues to ensure correct activation of groups and members
Required qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health insurance products, terminology, and operational workflows
  • Experience in a health insurance organization or related benefits environment, supporting large group accounts
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and legislative requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • One or more years of progressive experience in healthcare operations or benefits administration
