Job Summary

To support individuals in navigating their healthcare benefits, the full-time remote Benefits Specialist will provide guidance on benefit plan options, address member inquiries, and assist during open enrollment periods while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and assist members with benefit inquiries, providing objective information about plan options and costs
  • Guide members through benefit elections during open enrollment and life status changes, ensuring clarity on their options
  • Research and resolve benefit-related issues while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and federal regulations
Required qualifications
  • High School Degree or GED required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of one to two years of customer service and benefits experience
  • Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel required
  • Familiarity with COBRA, Medicare, HSAs, and FSAs preferred
  • Ability to communicate complex benefit information clearly and effectively
