Job Summary
A company is looking for a Benefits Specialist for their USA and Canada locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of group benefits programs for the US and Canada
- Provide excellent customer service and support the design of quality benefits plans
- Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums, and plan administration
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field
- Three to five years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and province regulations affecting employee benefits programs
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and experience with HRIS and benefits databases
- Professional designations such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP/PHR or SPHR and CEBS preferred
