Job Summary

Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility for patients, the full-time hourly Benefits Verification Specialist will support admissions and clinical teams by ensuring accurate benefit information and timely communication, working fully remotely from Colorado.

Key responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and behavioral health benefits with various payors
• Document benefit details and communicate information clearly to staff and patients
• Maintain accurate records and support admissions and utilization review teams with benefit-related inquiries

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Entry-level role; prior healthcare or insurance experience is a plus
• Interest in healthcare administration, behavioral health, or revenue cycle operations
• Basic knowledge of insurance terminology preferred
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
