Bermuda Licensed Risk Officer

Job Summary

Overseeing the risk operations of a Bermuda-regulated entity, the full-time Bermuda Licensed Risk Officer will manage the enterprise-wide risk framework, ensuring compliance with BMA regulations while focusing on digital asset custody and client asset safeguarding in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and policies in line with BMA expectations
• Conduct regular risk assessments targeting financial, operational, cyber, and crypto-specific threats
• Monitor and enforce controls around client asset safeguarding, ensuring compliance with BMA rules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business, or Law; professional credentials (e.g., FRM, PRM) are advantageous
• 3-5+ years of experience in risk management roles within digital asset businesses, custody providers, or traditional financial institutions
• Strong knowledge of Bermuda's Digital Asset Business Act (DABA) and BMA regulatory requirements
• Practical understanding of digital asset mechanics and related security protocols
• Based in Bermuda or willing to relocate to meet local management requirements
