BI Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and managing foundational analytical data structures, the full-time BI Analytics Engineer will develop and maintain semantic data models to enable scalable business intelligence and self-service analytics in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain semantic data models that support enterprise reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with business intelligence developers and stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into scalable data structures
• Establish and implement data modeling standards and best practices to enhance data accessibility and model reusability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence engineering, or data modeling
• Strong experience designing and implementing dimensional data models, including fact and dimension tables
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large, complex datasets
• Experience developing analytical data models within modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery
