BI Developer

Job Summary

Leading the development and optimization of enterprise BI solutions, the remote BI Developer will manage the semantic layer across various BI tools, create complex reports and dashboards, and support data modeling from cloud platforms in a 12-month contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize the semantic layer across multiple BI tools, ensuring high performance and data consistency
• Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards utilizing advanced data modeling and query optimization techniques
• Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot performance issues and implement best practices in BI development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of experience in data and analytics roles
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on BI development experience, including report and dashboard creation
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Strong SQL skills with experience in query writing and data modeling
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as GCP / BigQuery
