BI Developer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the remote BI Developer will lead the development and optimization of enterprise BI solutions, focusing on enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency over a 12-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize the semantic layer across multiple BI tools, ensuring high performance and data consistency
• Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards using advanced data modeling and query optimization techniques
• Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot performance issues and implement best practices in BI development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of experience in data and analytics roles
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on BI development experience, including report and dashboard creation
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Strong SQL skills with experience in query writing and data modeling
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as GCP / BigQuery
