BI Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the BI Engineer will take end-to-end ownership of the enterprise Tableau environment, leading design and development efforts while mentoring junior developers and engaging with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise Tableau dashboards and workbooks
• Define and enforce Tableau development standards and architect scalable data source connections
• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level BI Engineers to support skills growth

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• 6-12 years of enterprise Tableau development experience, including advanced SQL proficiency
• Experience managing Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud administration
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and enterprise data warehouse concepts
• Proven ability to lead stakeholder engagements and deliver analytics solutions in regulated environments
