Bid Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bid Manager to lead proposals for public transit agencies and operators worldwide, focusing on Europe and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the response process for market-sounding requests, RFIs, RFPs, BAFOs, and clarification requests
• Define bid strategy, structure, and timelines, coordinating input from various teams to prepare high-quality proposals
• Track and report outcomes, analyzing results to identify improvements for future submissions

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading bids for complex technology solutions or services, ideally in SaaS, transport, or the public sector
• Commercially aware with experience reviewing pricing and profitability considerations
• Advanced Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite skills; experience with proposal automation tools is a plus
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage high-impact work independently
• Excellent English writing and editing skills, with a focus on quality under pressure
