Bid Proposal Deputy Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deputy Director of Bid & Proposal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises a team of B&P staff, coordinates activities, and provides performance evaluation and training
• Reviews award and contract agreements, negotiates with funding agencies and Principal Investigators, and provides budget recommendations
• Develops and implements B&P compliance processes, establishes tracking system, and ensures compliance with regulations and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant pre-award experience in a large nonprofit or university sponsored projects office
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in budget development, contract negotiation, and process flow
• Minimum of 4 years experience as a manager
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
