Big Data Architect

Job Summary

To support a dynamic client in the media sector, the remote Big Data Architect will design and optimize database models, implement data strategies, and build ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and GCP services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize conceptual and logical database models to enhance data efficiency and security
• Build and maintain big data ETL pipelines and data ingestion processes using DBT, GCP Services, and SQL
• Conduct system performance tests and troubleshoot to integrate new elements into existing data structures

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data modeling, with at least 3 years focused on big data (100TB+)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, ERD, GCP, and DBT
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles and data mining techniques
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Looker
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder, with no visa sponsorship required
