Big Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Big Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Jira and SCRUM agile methodology, interacting with global stakeholders
• Write complex, maintainable code to develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly applications using backend Python and related technologies
• Develop highly available, high-performance, cloud-native applications and efficient data access RESTful APIs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in back-end object-oriented programming, particularly in Python and Big Data
• Sound SDLC skills, preferably with experience in an agile environment
• Desirable knowledge of integrating RESTful APIs and understanding microservices architecture
