With over 8 years of IT experience, the full-time Big Data Lead will manage Snowflake data engineering projects using Python and AWS services, focusing on building enterprise-wide data and analytics systems in the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of data engineering solutions using Snowflake and Python
• Design and optimize data pipelines leveraging AWS services such as Lambdas, step functions, and ECS
• Collaborate with financial services teams to enhance data analytics capabilities and support asset management operations

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on data engineering
• Practical experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL skills
• In-depth understanding of AWS ecosystems and related services
• Experience in building data systems within a financial services organization
