Job Summary

To lead data initiatives, the full-time Big Data Lead will manage projects involving Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Factory, and various big data technologies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and implement big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Apache Spark
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows
• Utilize cloud platforms like Google Cloud and Snowflake for data storage and processing

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in big data technologies including Scala, Databricks, and Apache Spark
• Experience with cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform and Azure Data Factory
• Strong background in data architecture and data modeling
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
