Job Summary
Providing exceptional support to Spanish or French and English-speaking clients, the full-time Seasonal Bilingual Benefits Customer Service Representative will assist with the enrollment process and updates to health care and pension plans while working remotely, with occasional office visits required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build rapport and respond compassionately to customers, ensuring timely and respectful communication via phone, email, and instant messaging
- Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws while translating complex plan information into understandable terms
- Document call and case notes accurately in English and participate in team meetings and training sessions
Required Qualifications
- Excellent Spanish or French language skills, with the ability to translate calls into grammatically correct English notes
- Experience in a customer service environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Ability to work autonomously in a structured, virtual environment while adhering to schedules and protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess member concerns effectively
