Bilingual Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Bilingual Collections Specialist will manage past due accounts by contacting customers to resolve delinquency, processing payments, and addressing complex account inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to facilitate resolution and process payments over the phone
• Research delinquent accounts to determine appropriate resolution actions and provide relief options to customers facing hardships
• Document account interactions and assist with overflow calls related to disputes and other inquiries

Required qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum 1-year relevant experience in customer service or collections
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
• Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy
• Availability for two evening shifts per week and one Saturday shift every five weeks
