Bilingual Collector II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collector II - Bilingual.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact responsible parties on loans to determine the cause of delinquency
• Assist in developing repayment arrangements and cross-sell Credit Union products
• Make recommendations to supervisors regarding actions to protect the Credit Union's interests

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• Minimum of two years collections and customer service/sales experience required
• Knowledge of Debtor/Creditor Collection Law and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act
• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of automated collection software and call center experience beneficial
