Bilingual Content Editor

Job Summary

To support a growing remote-first agency, the contracted Freelance Bilingual Content Editor (English/French) will prepare, edit, and rewrite content across various topics while ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and rewrite comprehensive copy in both English and French with minimal supervision
• Fact-check content for accuracy and adapt tone to suit the target audience and style guides
• Act as the final approval on all assigned client copy, implementing feedback effectively

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience creating and editing content for both French and English-speaking companies
• 2-3 years in an editor role at a digital publication or in an agency setting
• Extensive knowledge of niche topics within the health, legal, finance, and/or tech industries
• Experience writing and editing digital content, including long-form guides and thought leadership pieces
• Proficiency in using Google Workspace
