Job Summary

Fluent in both English and a secondary language, the full-time Bilingual Customer Service Representative will provide customer care and benefit enrollment services for the Health Texas project via telephone and web-based portals, starting with on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer inquiries through various channels while adhering to performance standards and confidentiality requirements
  • Provide accurate information about programs and services to consumers and track all customer interactions in applicable systems
  • Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking customers and escalate complex issues to designated staff as needed
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required, with 0-6 months of relevant professional experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Fluency in English and a specified secondary language is mandatory
  • Proficiency in managing high-volume calls and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Central Time)
  • Must pass a bilingual assessment and complete initial on-site training
