Bilingual Customer Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support an important six-month project assessing customer satisfaction with burial and memorial benefits, the part-time temporary Bilingual Customer Support Specialist will respond to next-of-kin inquiries regarding surveys, ensuring high response rates while working remotely after initial onsite training in the D.C. Metro Area.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and emails from next-of-kin with questions about VA surveys
• Provide best-in-class customer service support and troubleshoot survey-related issues
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations

Required qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish, fluent in both written and spoken communication
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 4 years of professional office-based work experience
• Ability to work a 4-hour shift daily for approximately 6.5 months
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Veterans from diverse backgrounds
