Job Summary

Supporting patients in accessing financial assistance for medical care, the full-time hourly Bilingual Eligibility Specialist will conduct assessments, guide application processes for government and charity programs, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen patients to assess financial assistance eligibility and provide guidance on available programs
• Facilitate the application process for programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, ensuring timely and accurate documentation submission
• Act as a liaison between patients, hospital staff, and government agencies to establish eligibility and resolve coverage issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in English and Spanish
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in healthcare or financial counseling
• Flexibility to provide support at nearby hospital locations as needed
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately
