Job Summary

Bilingual Emergency Management Faculty will teach online courses in Emergency and Disaster Management in Spanish and English, requiring fluency in both languages, while engaging with students and contributing to a positive online learning environment in a part-time remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online instruction in Emergency and Disaster Management courses
• Support student retention and success by fostering an interactive learning experience
• Maintain expertise in the subject matter and adhere to institutional guidelines and policies

Required qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Emergency and Disaster Management or a closely related field
• Five or more years of experience in the Emergency and Disaster Management field
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with proficiency testing as part of the application process
• Preferred experience in college-level and online teaching
• Record of excellence in teaching and ability to engage with diverse student populations
