Bilingual Health Educator

Job Summary

Fluent in both English and Spanish, the part-time Bilingual Health Educator will manage incoming calls on the educational support line, providing compassionate assistance while adhering to patient privacy laws and collaborating with various departments in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and assist callers on the educational support line, following scripts and resource documents
• Maintain knowledge of disease information and patient privacy laws (HIPAA) while communicating effectively with stakeholders
• Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with other departments to address call totals and issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three years of related experience or training; medical background preferred
• Basic computer skills, including experience with database data entry and MS Office
• Experience in call center operations and patient communication
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
