Bilingual Health Educator

Job Summary

Fluent in both English and Spanish, the part-time Bilingual Health Educator will manage incoming calls on the educational support line, ensuring adherence to patient privacy laws and collaborating with other departments to address caller needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Listen to and assist callers on the educational support line while following scripts and resource documents
• Maintain knowledge of disease information and patient privacy laws (HIPAA) to provide accurate support
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to communicate call totals and resolve issues effectively

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or three years of related experience preferred
• Medical background is preferred
• Basic computer skills, including experience with patient communication and data entry
• Experience in call center operations and troubleshooting
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired
