Bilingual Health Educator

Job Summary

Fluent in both English and Spanish, the part-time Bilingual Health Educator will manage incoming calls on the educational support line, ensuring patient privacy and collaborating with various departments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to callers and provide educational support while following established scripts and guidelines
• Maintain knowledge of disease information and patient privacy laws (HIPAA) to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to report call totals and address issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three years of related experience preferred
• Experience in call center operations and patient communication
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired
• Medical background is preferred
