Job Summary

To support New York residents facing utility-related challenges, the full-time Bilingual Intake Advocate will manage client intake and case support, engage in community outreach, and conduct research and administrative tasks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with utility-related issues
  • Participate in community outreach efforts and build relationships with organizations and agencies
  • Conduct research and assist with reports and advocacy materials while maintaining detailed records
Required qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations, social services, or community advocacy preferred
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
