Job Summary
To support New York residents facing utility-related challenges, the full-time Bilingual Intake Advocate will manage client intake and case support, engage in community outreach, and conduct research and administrative tasks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with utility-related issues
- Participate in community outreach efforts and build relationships with organizations and agencies
- Conduct research and assist with reports and advocacy materials while maintaining detailed records
Required qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in nonprofit organizations, social services, or community advocacy preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
