Job Summary

Receiving inbound calls and managing the authorization process, the full-time Bilingual Intake Coordinator will document demographic information, follow up on clinical inquiries, and collaborate with internal and external partners in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Document demographic information from calls, faxes, and web requests in the care management system
  • Make outbound calls to gather discharge information or request updated clinical data for reviews
  • Screen inquiries for service certification and provide certification based on clinical algorithms
Required qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or customer support environment
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish and English
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain courteous relations with partners and members
  • Experience with medical terminology is a plus
