Bilingual Interpreter Spanish-English

Job Summary

To support virtual therapy sessions, the part-time Bilingual Interpreter (Spanish/English) will provide interpretation services for treatment sessions and evaluations, working remotely with Speech or Occupational Therapists primarily during evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation services during therapy sessions and evaluations
• Translate therapeutic documents and instructions between English and Spanish
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines while managing administrative tasks as needed

Required qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong reading and writing skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent; an associate degree preferred
• One year of interpreting experience or equivalent combination of education and training
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the ZOOM platform
• Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends
