Job Summary
A company is looking for a Professional Learning Specialist, Bilingual Literacy (Part-Time, Contractor) to join their professional development team and make a nation-wide impact on educators and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate high-quality professional development in two complementary Literacy programs (one English, one Spanish) to teachers and school leaders
- Develop and maintain expertise on key concepts for Amplify Literacy programs and related professional development offerings
- Deliver remote and onsite professional development sessions for educators during the summer season
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching and/or coaching educators in Pre-K to Grade 12
- Proven knowledge of adult learning principles and experience applying them when delivering learning experiences to adults
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate professional development in English and Spanish at a Federal ILR Level 4 or above
- Strong knowledge of best practices for implementing high-quality instruction in math, science, or literacy
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish
