Bilingual Medicaid Eligibility Specialist

Job Summary

To assist low-income Medicaid beneficiaries, the remote Bilingual Medicaid Eligibility Specialist will advocate for and facilitate government assistance applications, utilizing Spanish language skills to provide exceptional customer service while managing a high volume of phone-based interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telephonic outreach and screening for Medicaid and SCHIP eligibility, utilizing bilingual communication skills
• Compile and evaluate personal and financial data to determine eligibility and assist members with application processes
• Meet production and quality standards while adhering to state regulations and corporate compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Spanish speaking and writing proficiency
• Basic knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and government program eligibility requirements
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and technology
• Ability to manage high call volumes and navigate multiple databases
