Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bilingual Medicaid Eligibility Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact former hospital patients to screen for Medicaid/State Public Benefit eligibility
• Complete and submit applications to relevant health departments and follow up on determinations
• Educate patients about the Affordable Care Act and assist with navigating health plans

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in financial counseling or medical insurance
• Demonstrated understanding of state and federal programs
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Required computer skills, including data entry and proficiency in MS Office applications
