Bilingual Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support a virtual and home-based medical practice, the full-time Bilingual Medical Assistant will coordinate care for members through telehealth visits, manage order and care coordination, and advocate for patients' healthcare needs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing members for telehealth visits and ensuring they feel comfortable during the onboarding process
• Coordinating with healthcare partners for durable medical equipment, lab testing, and follow-up care
• Serving as a liaison between members and clinicians, addressing care coordination issues and providing educational materials

Required qualifications

• MA Certification (active or expired accepted)
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
• Two years of patient-facing experience, preferably with telehealth
• Prior experience in primary care is a plus
• Experience in care coordination, especially for Medicare patients
