Bilingual Medicare Eligibility Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Bilingual Medicare & Medicaid Eligibility Specialist (Advocate).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct calls with members to assist in applying for or retaining Medicaid and Medicare benefits
• Evaluate eligibility for Medicaid or Low-Income Subsidies and explain regulations in simple terms
• Gather and verify personal and financial information for accurate enrollment and recertification

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (speak, read, write)
• 2-3 years of experience in healthcare, eligibility screening, case management, or customer service
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP, or Special Needs Plans is preferred
• Proficient in using multiple software systems, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
